Our Story

August and Kara have been together for well over 10 years, since bonding over our many shared mutual passions of endurance sports and adventure, travel, music (especially the epic combo of country and hip hop!), good food and wine, sunshine, DOGS (!!), and spending as much time outside as possible. During our many years together, we have shared unforgettable experiences traveling all over the world, countless miles on singletrack, epic summit views, sunrises and sunsets from the back of a truckbed, end-of-day lake dips, outdoor picnics in some of the most remote places out there, treasured adventures with our pups, ALL of the laughs – and have steadfastly supported each other through life’s many challenges. Our connection has only grown stronger with time, and while we’ve always known it was meant to be for the long term, we are so excited to now be getting married, and to share this special time in our lives with the many friends and family who have been part of our story for all these years. We also can’t wait to share with you all the new home we poured our hearts into these last few years, and introduce you to our new little guy HUGO!
